How an automotive wholesaler optimised their IT system with OSIT

Globe Parts & Accessories was founded in 1999 in Perth with the goal of becoming a leading distributor of automotive parts. While they are primarily recognised for their side and rear vehicle body glass, they also offer fixed and sliding van windows, rear cab sliders, window regulators, fitting tools, as well as moulds and rubbers.
Globe Parts & Accessories had an IT set-up that was no longer adequately supporting their digital operations. This lead to them requiring essential upgrades to their IT services to align with their evolving needs.
As a result, they contacted Office Solutions IT for assistance with IT support services to enhance their operational efficiency while considering their specific requirements.
Although Globe Parts & Accessories utilised Azure to manage their digital operations, their systems still required a significant overhaul, encompassing both hardware and software, to align with industry standards while also meeting their specific needs.
Additionally, they needed proactive IT support that could address issues promptly without waiting for failures to occur before taking action.
OSIT implemented an IT needs analysis for Globe Parts & Accessories to assess the current condition of their systems and develop customised solutions. While their setup had not yet caused significant issues, it would have soon if not addressed.
Consequently, the OSIT team introduced a managed IT support package that transitioned them to a new and enhanced system while considering their requirements. OSIT also allocated a support team to ensure they had dedicated personnel who collaborated closely with their IT department.
After transitioning their IT, Globe Parts and Accessories now benefit from enhanced system performance and an infrastructure customised to meet their organisational needs. OSIT also streamlined their ecosystem, ensuring they only pay for the licenses and hardware they actually use.
They have also gained a dedicated IT support team that specifically manages their IT needs. This means that whenever they require IT assistance, they're communicating with the same individuals who have been involved with their IT from the beginning.
